Depending on how light you want your hair to be, you should leave the lightening mixture on a minimum of 20 minutes, up to a maximum of 90 minutes.After 20 minutes, wipe the strand clean. If the strand is not light enough, return it to the lightening mixture and check every 5 minutes. Remember your hair looks darker when wet.Rinse the strand thoroughly and towel dry gently.
