Maybe I should have known that this was too good to be true. I pay $120 at the mall for the Corioliss two years ago. I needed a new iron so I looked online and found them selling for under $70. The iron I recently bought from Dead Sea doesn't straighten my hair unless I pass through the section 7 times. And then it's still not silky.Luckily I still kept my old iron and I made a comparison of the to physical products. The original iron is a lighter pastel pink and the new iron is a hot pink color. Notice: the color of the iron on the webpage is the light color of my old iron. Also ID numbers and tags are either omitted or in completely different places. I am not saying that it's a fake, BUT it straightens like a cheap drug store version and it looks pretty different from the one that I bought from the manufacturer. Caveat Emptor!!!I can't return it because I was one week over the 7 day return period. I guess I wasted $50. So I did research and bought a Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron for $94. It works perfectly.

I got this flat iron for christmas one year. I believe it is one that they sell in kiosks in the mall if it isn't then my mistake. It worked wonderful at first but by a year or two later it stopped working well. The plates didn't heat up as much and never made my hair straight. I have thick natural curly hair so it was just a pain to have to use.

It is a great straightener. I love it. It is very easy to use, light, and gives quick results. I was dubious about getting one of those, but after getting one, I feel I did the right thing. It is a great thing to have. Can do the hair in a few minutes with very satisfactory results.

Not what I expected from Coriollis

I've owned a Corioliss hair straightener before and it was excellent. It had cost $150, was very smooth, slick and worked well. Had dial controls for heat settings. It only lived for three years, but 5 people used it. The one I bought was billed as a $250 one, had no heat controls and was not as smooth. In fact, felt and acted really cheap. I didn't return it because I didn't want to pay shipping. Bought myself a real $150 dollars one from another brand, InfraShine, that looks and feels even better than the old Corioliss. I felt duped. That was not even worth the price it cost, $59.

Works great! Heated up quicker than my old corioliss straightener and I could really tell the difference the 2nd day after I straightened my hair because I barely had to touch it up at all. Highly recommend!

This product is a good one IF you can find it for a good price on the Internet (as opposed to buying at the mall). The mall will trap you into paying $130 or more for this iron, and to be honest, I think the ones they use for demonstrations are better models. That seems odd, but when the girl at the mall curled my hair, it came out FANTASTIC! I even curled pieces with the same iron in the mall while the girl showed me how-and the curls were nice and bouncy. Then of course, when you get home, it doesn't work the way you want it to. Overall, I'd say that with some practice to style hair the way you want, this iron is pretty good. I also have a HAI convertible (my second one) which is my favorite-does not let me down and I can do all the same things (flips, curls, straight, etc.) with it. DON"T GET SUCKERED INTO BUYING AT THE MALL!!

I never did my hair before I bought this straightener. I was roped in at the mall and have never regretted it. Before I had this I would hardly even brush my hair, but now i look forward to straightening it. It's so fast and easy to use. This straightener does a good job of adding shine to your hair and keeping it full of life, but it takes me an hour and sometimes over to straighten my wavy hair. I would recommend a different straightner.

I love my Croc2. I am a full Mexican so i have that fine wavy/curly hair, this straightens it like no other. I have tried the Chi and have not liked them. I believe the Titanium plate are way better. This leaves my hair soft. Heats up quickly. It does get very hot, depending on how hot you have it so be careful when touching it! Highly recommend for the wavy curly hair gals!

Heats up quickly. Flattens my hair better and quicker than my old ceramic flat iron. Learned it can display and Fahrenheit or Celsius because it would only display up to 230. But I knew the iron was getting hotter than that. If you hold the right button down and then hit the ON button, it will display a C or an F so you can decide how you want the degrees displayed.

Best Flat Iron around, no kidding.

My wife has a drawer full of flat irons and what not's. She says they are good but take too much time to do their job. I bought her this CROC2 that was recomended by a friend, she is in LOVE with it. The Titanium plates do their job faster than any of the $15-45 dollar ones she has. The Digital setting help adjust to you exact preferred temperature.Based on her reaction BUY this product. She has recommended it to all her sisters, word is bond!

Better curling than curling iron.

I have long hair and was having trouble curling it with the typical curling iron. My friend had this and I tried it and was convinced I had to get it! Only drawback is that it's hard to curl from the roots--i can only get it to curl an inch or two below the roots which is waaay better than what a curling iron did for my hair.

Small thing that makes life better

My wife got that Hair Straightener after many years of straightening her hair using blowing fan. This works great! First whenever she needs to get ready she is able to do it fast and second its dead quite while the results are great. This one really worth the money.
