FHI has introduced their new range of hair straighteners called the platform range. In the previous range women and hair stylists rated the FHI Heat Technique G2 iron very highly and said it was the best in the FHI range. There are six models in the FHI platform range which are; platform pink 1" straightener, 4/10" hair straightener, heat technique professional ceramic straightener, and there are three in the ceramic range which vary in sizes of 1, 1 ¼ and 13/4". The platform pink has the largest PTFC heater and can be used to curl, wave and twist hair. It can also be used to straighten long, medium or short hair. The professional ceramic straightener is the most versatile in its class and can be used on any size of hair to straighten, curl, flip and twist the hair. This straightener is preferred by hair stylists. The ceramic hair straighteners use the negative ion charge to maintain the natural moisture of the hair. The hair does not dry out and maintains its natural sheen and smoothness.

The ceramic FHI hair straighteners have a fixed temperature of 410 degrees F; they are lightweight in design and heat up in 5 to 10 seconds.
