STEP 1 BRUSH ON HIGHLIGHTS Dip the brush into the highlighting mixture, taking a very small amount onto the tip.Hold the brush as you would hold a pencil.Starting from about 1/4 inch from the scalp, brush the highlighting mixture evenly onto selected hair strands.If any highlighting mixture gets on your skin or household surface, wipe it off immediately with a damp paper towel.
