Whether the color of your hair at home or have done by professionals, you want your hair color last stay vibrant, as long as possible! Here is how to get hair color long lasting.

There are several techniques you can try to maintain the color of your hair looking great.

Step 1: The color of your hair often

To keep hair color looking great, you really need relief or color every six weeks - and if you are using red dyes, which might even need to do it as often as four weeks. (Red coloring fade faster than other colors because they are more sensitive to detergents in shampoos.)

Step 2: Use a shampoo before coloring Clarification

If you use hair serums and other silicone-based products, use a clarifying shampoo for a few days before coloring your hair. Do not use a shampoo clearer on a daily basis, and that will fade its color. But using it before coloring to obtain sera and silicones of your hair so that the dye will able to penetrate more easily.

Step 3: Do not RIGHT AFTER Shampoo

No shampoo at all for 24 hours, just before the hair coloring. If your hair is slightly oily, the dye sticks to your hair better and last longer.

Step 4: Do not shampoo every day

Its color will fade quickly if every day shampoo. Most of us are accustomed shampooing every day, but for most of us, our hair does not really need. You can wash your hair with cold water every morning and conditions the ends if necessary. However, when it comes to protecting the hair strands, you should try to shampoo every two days instead of daily.

Step 5: Use a shampoo that color enhances

When you wash your hair, use a shampoo to take care of color the way you want. If your hair color tends to be metal, use a purple-based color enhancing shampoo and conditioner. Violet tones combat background metallic gold and orange that many women hate.

Step 6: Do not use hot water

Hot water will fade your hair color, so wash and rinse your hair with cold water. If you can not stand the cold, warm, it's even better than hot!

Step 7: Avoid Hairspray

Hairspray cover their hair, making the color look dull and lifeless. Get a haircut that allows you to limit the use of hairspray and gels. Keep hair styling spray for a special occasion.

Step 8: Protect hair from sun

If you're going to spend long periods of time in the sun, wear a hat or scarf. If that's not practical shampoo, conditioner and use a sun protection function. If you can not find these products, mix 1 / 2 cup water with a teaspoon of sunscreen SPF 25 in a spray bottle. Spritz the mixture on the hair after leaving the shower every morning, and should be established for the entire day!
