head and shoulders shampoo / hair dye?!?


i've heard that head & shoulders shampoo can fade iut hair dye...i dyed my hair black and i REALLY dont like it.
can head and shoulders anti-dandruff shampoo help it to fade out...even just little??
or what other kind of shampoo? i really need to get rid of this black hair before i get back to school, without bleaching and things that damage your hair like that..

Shampoo two times when you shower with Prell shampoo or Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo followed by a GOOD Conditioner like Redken, Nexxus, or Pantene Pro-V Intense Conditioner.
Both of the above shampoos will fade the intensity of your color-without damaging your hair.
Make sure you do not attempt to use any shampoo's other than those I've listed or you risk altering the color all together and could be left with a purple/gray/orange or magenta undertone. If in doubt, go to a salon that specializes in color correction.

Head Lice Oil Treatment

 

Lice are small bugs that can often be seen on the hair of a child. These wingless creatures have six legs and are brownish to grayish in color. Small children, particularly girls with long hair, are susceptible to getting lice. The lice can be transmitted from one human head to another by means of head-to-head or hair-to-hair contact. Humans cannot transmit lice to pets. This infestation does not occur due to lack of personal hygiene. In fact, head lice are more attracted to clean hair.

Itching is an identifiable symptom of a head lice infestation. The itching may even occur on the neck and on the back of the ears. Lice and nits can be very bothersome, although they do not really cause any serious harm to the health of the child. However, too much scratching may lead to a bacterial infection. Oftentimes, chemicals and lice shampoos are being used to treat head lice. The skin on a child is highly sensitive and chemicals may cause an allergic reaction. Due to this, most people prefer using a head lice oil treatment, such as olive oil. Numerous tests have been conducted in several research laboratories. It has been proven that olive oil is indeed an excellent alternative head lice oil treatment.

Before starting with the treatment, you should talk to your child so that they know exactly what is going on, and what you are about to do to them. Here are some instructions on how you should start a head lice oil treatment:

1. Place a towel around the shoulders of your child to absorb the excess olive oil.

2. Take a handful of olive oil and apply it to the hair of your child. Make sure that the oil covers the hair thoroughly so that it can reach the areas where head lice are present.

3. Wrap the hair with a plastic wrap and make sure that all hair strands remain inside the wrap. Cover it with a shower cap and then wrap a towel over it so that it does not fall off. This is to make sure that the olive oil penetrates to the scalp.

4. Olive oil should be kept on the hair for several hours, because head lice have the capability to shut down all of their systems to stay alive longer. So, make sure you do the treatment before your child goes to bed to allow the olive oil to smother the lice for a long period of time.

5. Upon waking up the following morning, use a lice comb to divide the hair into sections. When done, start combing these sections repeatedly, so that you can get rid of all the dead head lice from the hair of your child.

6. Wash the hair using an ordinary shampoo to remove the olive oil. You can also make a mixture of vinegar and water and use it to rinse the hair after shampooing. This can help to remove all of the oil residues.

A head lice oil treatment can provide you the best results, if it is done at an early stage of infestation. If not, the treatment should be done several times before you can completely eliminate the lice and nits. There may also be a chance of re-infestation if other members of your family are infected as well. And so, it is advisable to check the hair of each member of your family. Or, ask them to go through the same procedure to make sure that no one is left infected with lice.
