Professional Hair Buzzer

Advice on how to cut a boys hair? His hair is about an inch long.. I don't know how to go about it!?

I'm 15 years old, and I'm taking the cosmetology program at my high school. I've been cutting hair for a few years already, and I've been told I'm very good. One of my friends wants me to cut his hair tomorrow.. but I've never done hair this short before. Its about an inch long. I have professional cutting sheers, so should i use those mostly, or a buzzer..? Any help would be much appreciated!!! Thanks!

why dont u use a #4 clipper gaurd on the back and then cut the to with shears and just style the hair it will look good belive me i specialize in mens cuts
