i have red hair is not darker orange strawberry blonde, a little. I do not know if it will work because the red hair is not on the table (idiots) and I love my color hair, so I do not want it to be permanently dark. my friend told me once you dye your hair never goes the same, even when fully grow back. I am dying as a costume and really want to. 1. I leave everything and does not change my hair color forever? 2. Will it work?

It will work, but slick. I had the light brown hair that had a natural light red tinge to it and I used the semi-permanent (wash-out) of dye and dyed it brown red, although I've never tried to get rid of her dyed color.
