I ordered this item for my teenage son (age 14).After he received a haircut, the stylist put on this gel and by the end of the day his hair was still perfect and not flaky at all.The price to buy in the salon was outrageous and for a much smaller tube size. Luckily, I found a much bigger size on Amazon.I really like the convenience of the pump. Great product!

I have been using this product for 6 yrs and buying it from my hair salon, however, the price continued to increase. I decided to "google Short Sexy Hair" to see what happened. Low and behold I was led to Amazon and I could buy the product at a cheaper rate with free shipping if I setup to have the product sent automatically whenever I so desired. This device is much better than using a more conventional trimmer. It makes little touchups a casual thing--'oh, I'm a little uneven on the left--zip-zip--done.'Two criticisms: the battery doesn't hold a charge that well, so you gotta keep it plugged in to use it that way. And you can't fade. So that nice gradient to shorter hair around the ears? Nope, it's all the same length. Maybe there's a way, but I'm too klutzy to get it to work.

I must say I have bought a lot of clipper sets in my day and since its so dang hot here in Las Vegas this summer I decided to go with a short buzz cut. I used regular clippers but could never duplicate the results of my barber and I felt ripped off by the barber paying him $12.00 for a 5 minute hair cut. So one day I stumbled across these clippers and I am VERY pleased with them. They are perfect for short "buzz" cuts probably not so good for longer styles. As far as the batter life I have had ZERO problems with mine. I even cut my hair with them right out of the box without charging them. So far I used them 3 times and have only charged the thing once. This clipper is a great buy!

This Remington Short Cut Clipper is just what I needed for a very short hair cut.Before getting this about 3 weeks ago, I had been trying to cut my own hair with straight edge electric clippers, but wasn't able to give myself an even cut, and it was a big 10-minute precarious effort. About a month ago I tried to give myself an even closer cut with the other clippers and ended up with galges, which I would could repair only by completing shaving my head. That was entertaining to be completely bald one time in my life, but there was no way I was going spend a big chunk of time shaving my head with a razor every day or two. So, I Googled around to see what others do for very short hair cuts, and found almost no up-to-date advice. Luckily, I stumbled upon the Remington Short Cut Clipper at Amazon. For the incredibly cheap price ($30 not even counting Amazon's discount), I figured it was worth a try.This turned out to be one of the satisfying consumer products I've purchased in recent years. I can now give myself a close cut, as close as I want, but also at more moderate close lengths, in just a few minutes. The result is an even cut, unless I incorrectly dig the clipper into some spot on my head. Don't do that.I also use the clipper as a great beard trimmer, although such use isn't advertised. It works better as a beard trimmer than the straight clippers I had been using.The handle shape of the clipper is ideal, in my opinion. A few days ago I saw another competitive clipper that was held sort of like a hand-held sander. I can't envision that as being as convenient as comfortable for the hand as this handle-shaped clipper.The only negative I offer here is not strong enough for me to reduce my 5-star rating. It seems that the device is somewhat unforgiving about being fed a charge regularly. Sometimes I have to wait a day to clip because I forgot to reconnect the clipper to the charger. Keep it charged.This is the first Amazon review I've ever written. I felt compelled to pass my high rating of the Remington Short Cut Clipper to others that might have been where I was 3 weeks ago, wondering what to do once the hair grew back from the bald starting point I had arrived at because of the little disaster using another far inferior clipper.

excellent haircutter

This is so far the best hair cutter that I have! I give it 5 starts because of its ease use and durable and the price. I had the flobbee that I bought last year. It only last 1 year and the blades are dull. When I cut my hair & my sons' hair, somehow the blades got stuck and its painful for my 2 sons.This new remington is NOT painful at all. In fact it cuts evenly from all angle. I would recommend any guy to try this out.

I have been using Hard Up gel for over 8 years now. I have tried almost every gel out there and this product is by far the best for those of us with uncontrollable hair. I am male and I was blessed with great but shaggy hair. Being over 40 now and still all my hair, which by the way is frizzy and untamed to say the least. I keep my hair near shoulder length and it is very thick. I could give Snoop Dogg a run for his money.All that being said if you are looking for a "light" gel, this product is not for you. It is near glue quality and does the job. If you want to lessen the hardness I would recommend a frizz controller liquid to mix with this as I sometimes do depending on the length of my hair.The 5.1 ounce are great for travel but highly recommend the large pump for everyday use.Cheers.

I have never reviewed a beauty product before. But this hair pomade is different and worth the money. For hair that isn't as thick as it used to be, it creates a thick look. It's a sort of gluey gunk; you have to wash it off your hands. But it makes medium length hair stand up (giving you "high" hair) without that stiff look. I'll buy it again.

Really does add texture!

This little product was a suprise. I have tried stiff looking waxes before, but this one was a little different. You take a little scoop on your finger, rub it between the palm sides of your hands, and work it through hair. It's pretty stiff at first but it loosens up as it spreads out on your hand. Use extra on the ends for a soft spikey look or just great hold.PROs: Great smell! It really does work to give texture and boost to hair. This is a must have for that sexy messy look. You don't get a lot of product, but just a small scoop will be all you need. It does not add weight to hair so if you're looking to find body and lift, this is for you!CONs: A tad expensive, but worth it. Don't be thrown off by the funky purple color of the product, and no, it won't turn your hair that color. It doesn't add any shine to hair.I'd buy this one again!

If you like a dry product that holds all day long this is the stuff for you. I also have very thick hair and it holds my Faux Fro up all day long. I even like that after a full day of work I can mess my hair all up and re-style it without having to add any additional product.

Best wax I used

This is a great product. I've been using it for more than a year now. Using a small amount won't make your hair grease at all. In addition you can model your hair easily. You are not going to have that cheap wet hair look, its like having your own hair but with a certain style. You have to applied it when your hair is dry. I fully recommend it. The only downsize, is that you can feel that doesn't work as well as before when your hair grows. But I guess thats why its call Short Sexy Hair Frenzy. The package picture show here at amazon its not the actual one. The corresponding one is yellow and violet. The wax is light violet colored as well.

Not just for kids

Great for older women as well as the younger crowd. Don't be put off by the name "Frenzy", or the "short sexy hair" on the container though older women can have sexy hair,too. I am an over 60 woman with thinning hair and this product was suggested by my hairdresser. It is a great product. Just a small amount applied to the roots of my hair gives a lift and volume. A little applied to ends helps control that "fly away" look. I was delighted to find it here on Amazon.

I'm a huge fan of the SEXY HAIR line!!! I mean who doesn't want beautiful, gorgeous, envy inducing hair?! I have LONG hair and this product is 1 of my FAVORITES!!! I use it at the roots and it gives great lift and volume!!! I find products that have the word "dry" in them (i.e. dry wax, dry shampoo) work great if you want volume and texture and really helps if you tend to get a little oily at the top- come on, it happens to the best of us =) It also helps define my layers, and I have A LOT of layers, with just a "quick" blast to the rest of my hair followed by a quick-up-side-down-shake-through with my fingers. And, because of that definition this product helps to achieve that "Hollywood-extension-look" without having to get extensions!!!

This is the best hair gel I have ever used. It doesn't make your hair flaky, you only need to use a small amount and I could go on and on about how much this product rocks but just buy it and find out for yourself.
