Fun but not Realistic

I bought this for an all-day costume event, and wanted something that looked somewhat realistic that I could take off at the end of the day. I have pitch black Asian hair and was doubtful that this would show well, so I bought the auburn color, which was lighter than what I'd wanted. This turned out to be a bad choice, because the bright copper-orange color showed REALLY well on my hair.It's exactly as it describes, a "spray-on" hair-spray like coloring product that "works for all hair types." Also, the color did not blend well with my black hair and acted more like a semi-metallic highlight than anything. Color comes off easily with water (and completely rinses away in the shower), but did not flake awfully for the 3-4 hours that I tested it (well running my fingers through my hair did leave me w/ brown dirt in my fingernails and tinted my fingertips dark orange...) It wasn't exactly what I was looking for...Otherwise, I'd recommend this if you're looking for something fun for a night out or just if you're feeling punky for a day.

Great stuff for thinning hair and root coverage

This spray color works great for scalp coverage for thinning hair and also works great for root touch-up - covers the gray well to get you to your next color appointment. It also works like a hairspray. I've tried the brunette and the auburn colors. My hair is a dark auburn and the brunette works best for me - the auburn is a bit too red - but blending works too.

A tiny too sticky for my taste. I thin it out. Doesn't stain my skin or scalp. I should have gone lighter on the color. Only good for small areas. Especially good for those nasty little strands next to your ears.

Not as great as it looks

I purchased this items for my daughter, as a washable option for coloring her hair. Make sure to add some water to the pad and let it sit before using. The hair will also be a little wet and will need time to dry. I probably wouldn't purchase again because she doesn't even use it anymore.

This works great, just wished they had more colors

I don't know about the other reviews, but my daughter, my nieces and their friends absolutely love this product. They get together and do each others hair whenever they can. It goes on very easily and washes right out.I just wish they had some colors that would appeal more to them such as pink and purple and more shimmers.

Okay, people just haven't got the brain power to think clearly anymore... this product works and it works well. My daughter has blonde hair, my niece has dark brown hair, it works on both of them. If you have trouble using the product and getting enough color...hold down the button on the tool to allow the brushes to run over the color tray for a few seconds or so. Make sure the hair has been brushed or it is more likely to get a tad tangled and section off small portion of hair, SLOWLY run it down the hair, you'll get more vibrant thicker color. Be sure to rinse the brush head after each color used and allow to dry before using the next color. We've had this product and it's matching tool over a year now and it still works. People are selling the tool on ebay if Amazon does not have it.

Poorly described , falsely sold - it gives you the impression it comes with the appilcation kit , which has been discontinued- its worthless without it and should be a free return and credit.
