Need Help please in matching Loreal Professional Hair colours?

Hi, I just moved to a new town 5 hours away from my hair stylist of 10 years. He advised me that I can dye my own hair and gave me the magic "formula" to buy at a local beauty supply. Now that I've moved, I can't find it anywhere. They all carry Loreal hair colour products, but not the formula numbers that he wrote down?
So I am now looking for an alternate cream brand that will be a colour match for the following:
3/4 Loreal 7N
1/4 Loreal 8N
20V Poroxide
Any advise or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am a hair stylist and the only place that you could find those colors would be in a professional beauty supply store that, unfortunately, usually only supply to licensed hair dressers. My best suggestion for you would be to find a new stylist in your area that uses Loreal Professional products and give them that formula. I can't tell you how many people have come to my salon after doing their own boxed color and just didn't know how to formulate for their hair type. We use Loreal in my salon and it is a great product but the colors that they sell in stores are not the same colors that professionals use. Most likely it is Loreal Paris or some other Loreal brand that is designed to be used by the public. Another suggestion, if cost is the issue would be to find a cosmetology school in your area that uses Loreal colors. My cosmetology school used Loreal color and it was cheaper because the students did all of the work (aided by the experienced teachers of course).
