Quantico - Six-year-old Ryan shook his sister Rosetta's Citra hand, a smile, squared his shoulder and sailed down the runway like a professional model Sunday during a spring fashion show sponsor and Operation Home Front Lincoln family housing at Quantico Family Center.

"I had to bribe her with M & M's," laughed the children's mother Karin Tanner as she hugged her daughter Ceria Tanner, 2, after its debut on the catwalk.

Husband of Karin Tanner, Sgt. Devin Tanner, I enjoyed watching the show.

"This is good," he said. "It was worth all the work."

Ryan, who wore a black tuxedo and red flower in his buttonhole, and cerium wearing a pink dress, sleeveless, were among the dozens of service members' children, ranging in age from babies to teenagers, that styles the latest model of the season on the show. Parents and volunteers helped hair style young models and bring them to their new clothes before the show.

"They are absolutely adorable, "said Vivian Dietrich, who heads the Washington DC Metropolitan Chapter of the operation front, nonprofit organization that provides emergency assistance and morale programs for military families.

The models and other girls who attend the fair each received two coats of your choice to take home.

"This is their day that they are dressing up and being able to walk down the runway and show off their new spring fashions" Dietrich added.

Operation Home Front received a large donation of brand new spring dresses for children in difficult situations, or children, which includes manufacturers and retailers in a partnership with its network of more than a thousand social service agencies.

KIDS has thousands of contributors donating items, from toys to school supplies and, in this case spring clothes, "said Dietrich." So we said, what better way

The Quantico fashion show was the first of these three events for the largest area of Washington, DC. The second will be held in Annapolis on Saturday and the third is in the lead Indian, Maryland, March 28.
